Parking Enforcement during Thanksgiving

Regular parking will be enforced during Thanksgiving recess.  Please park according to permit color and always assume that parking and traffic regulations are enforced, even if classes are not in session.  All Green (Employee) permit parking lots and one marked row of Red (student) permit parking in the Beck/Stadium lot are No Parking 2 a.m. – 7 a.m., 7 days a week.  Green permit holders needing to park overnight must park in the Motor Pool lot.

Parking permits are available 24 hours a day in the Campus Safety office.  Please come to the Campus Safety office with your vehicle information to register prior to parking on campus.  Parking passes are not prorated over the course of a semester.

Vehicles parked on campus without a valid parking permit, or parked in the wrong designated lot will receive a parking ticket for each day of non-registration or being parked in the wrong lot. Visitor parking is closed to students and staff and is always enforced.

If a permit holder changes vehicles during the academic year, they will need to return their sticker to register the new vehicle and receive a replacement sticker ($10 charge).  Studying abroad/graduating in December?  Return your sticker to Campus Safety for a credit for the unused Spring portion ($120) by January 15th.

Contact the Campus Safety office 24 hours a day at 507-933-8888 with any parking related questions, or email the Campus Safety Administrative Assistant Lisa Octigan at eoctigan@gustavus.edu and she will get back to you the next business day.
