On Sunday, September 10, 2017, Campus Safety received a third party report of an incident of sexual assault – fondling that occurred in a campus residence hall.  The report provided information that over the course of the night, a male individual repeatedly groped at the thighs and butt area of a female without consent.

The report indicates that several bystanders intervened in an effort to stop the behavior.

The alleged perpetrator has been identified and the case has been referred to the Title IX Coordinator.

All members of the campus community are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others.  Members of the College community, guests, and visitors have the right to be free from sexual violence, which includes sexual misconduct.

Anyone that is experiencing similar behaviors can contact the Title IX Coordinator, Patty Dawson or SART 507-933-6868.
