Parking Permit Requirements – Fall, J-term, and Spring

Students and employees who wish to park a vehicle on campus must obtain a parking permit by registering with the Department of Campus Safety and display a valid permit of the appropriate permit color before parking.  Permit parking is enforced during finals – always assume that permit and overnight restrictions are enforced, even if classes are not in session.  Those leaving a vehicle on campus over Christmas Recess should park in the Bjorling or Arbor View parking lots (parking in any other lot will result in citation and tow).

Please come to the Campus Safety office (with your vehicle information) to register for a parking permit.  Sticker permits are $260 for the school year and are not pro-rated over the course of the semester and are still available in the Campus Safety office.  For those parking a vehicle short-term, student temporary passes are available for $5/weekday.  J-term parking permits will be available 1/2/17 – $50 J-term only; $150 J-term + Spring).  Spring semester permits are available in February for $130.

Visitor parking is closed to students and employees at all times (24/7/365).

Students may register ONE vehicle.  If a permit holder changes vehicles during the academic year, they will need to return their sticker to register the new vehicle and receive a replacement sticker ($10 charge).  Studying abroad/graduating in December?  Return your sticker to Campus Safety for a credit for the unused Spring portion ($130) by January 15th.

Bicycles parked on campus need to be registered with the Department of Campus Safety.  There is no charge for registration, but non-registered and unsecured bicycles can be picked up and owners will be charged fees.
